How are the two homes laid out?
The primary home has one king bedroom, 1.5 baths, a kitchen and living room. The second home has two bedrooms (a full/queen and a queen), one bath, a kitchen and living room.
Are pets welcome?
Yes, with a non-refundable $350 pet deposit. We just ask that you clean up after them before departure.
Is it suitable for young children?
We don't recommend it for young children - the pool is unfenced and the ocean is right there.
What's the cancellation policy?
It's a non-refundable, zero-cancellation policy, though we'll work with you on rescheduling if the dates rebook.

Do you host weddings or events?
Sadly, no - after decades of hosting them, we've had to end that tradition. The estate is now for private vacation stays only.
Are linens provided?
Yes - fresh linens each week, including bath and beach towels for everyone, and your beds are made for your arrival.
What's here to enjoy on land and water?
Two single kayaks, two tandem kayaks, and three paddleboards with life vests for all, plus four bicycles, a cornhole set, and a bocce set.
Tell me about the pool.
A saltwater pool - gentler on the skin - six feet deep with amazing Atlantic views, optional heat in winter, eight chaise lounges, two in-pool sun chairs, and a daybed.
Is the property secure?
Yes - it's gated, with a door code and remote provided for your stay.
Is there WiFi?
Yes, with an outdoor antenna for full coverage everywhere on the estate.
Is the beach really private?
Completely. These 2.75 acres are very private - no one walks by. It's all your beach to enjoy.
Is there laundry?
Yes, and it's free to use as you need.
Will you share local recommendations?
Yes - our house manual, provided after booking, is full of local favorites.
Where exactly are you?
MM82 in Upper Matecumbe, Islamorada, with a Publix supermarket just 0.7 miles away.
How big is the beach?
The white-sand beach is 200 feet wide and over 600 feet deep, framed by palms more than 100 feet tall.
How far ahead can I book?
Vacation stays can be booked up to 12 months in advance.
What if something comes up during our stay?
You'll have 24-hour access management through Freewheeler Vacations.
What about mosquitoes?
The ocean breeze helps, and a professional mosquito-control system keeps them well managed.
